About Learn EP

The Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative (EPLI) at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (Stanford PACS) has designed Learn Effective Philanthropy (“LearnEP”), an e-learning platform to better educate stakeholders in effective philanthropy.

LearnEP shares our lab’s methodology on effective philanthropic practice to an array of audiences: high-capacity donors, donor support entities (such as advisors) and many other stakeholders in this ecosystem. Through interactivity and multimedia, we built an easy-to-understand environment for users to learn, track their progress, and custom-tailor their journey in philanthropy.

LearnEP was conceived and designed by Davey Kim, Program Manager at EPLI, with support from Kathryn Davis, Design Fellow, and Haeli Baek, Intern.  Content provided by Erinn Andrews, Director at EPLI and Heather Lord, Senior Fellow. Platform testing and refinement was done in partnership with International Advisors in Philanthropy.

Users of the LearnEP will be submitting personal data. Please review our Data Usage and Privacy Statement for more details on how we protect your information.

We invite all philanthropy practitioners to freely share and adapt whatever we build. LearnEP is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. See our About page for more information.
